We were asked to develop an interior design concept for Joe to Go, a veteran restaurant chain that is re-inventing itself to offer packaged take-away food. The challenge was to create a design icon expressing its new concept of food for people on-the-go that could easily be incorporated in all of the chain's branches. The branches are located in sites with a lot of traffic, and the design elements get their inspiration from the world of transportation: train stations, airports, modern parking lots, etc. Food display stands were part of the new design.
